Dzigbordi
K. Dosoo (Mrs.) is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of
Allure Africa Group an award winning premier Spa & Lifestyle
Business headquartered in Accra Ghana with an office in Washington
DC USA. The primary business focus of Allure Africa is to develop
and grow premium Spa & Lifestyle companies throughout Africa, with
an emphasis on forging international strategic partnerships. The
companies within the group are Allure Spa In the City, Allure Sales
and Distribution Company, and AllureCollege Its Core Business
Activities are Day Spa and Grooming Services Delivery, Product
Distribution, Education and Training and & Spa, Grooming and Image
Consulting.
Dzigbordi is a Wellness Grooming, Image and Lifestyle Expert who is
widely regarded as a thought leader in the Spa Industry in Africa,
and is a strong advocate for the industry particularly promoting
Education and Standards. After a 10 year stint in Financial
Services, Investment Banking and International Trade Consulting,
which included doing assignments for work for the World Bank Group’s
Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) and the
International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the USAID among others
Dzigbordi, took a leap to turn her passion for Wellness, Grooming
and Image into a giant business in Africa. She is a sought after,
Inspirational, Informative and Fun Speaker who imparts practical
“take away" knowledge wherever she goes.
As an Entrepreneur, Dzigbordi is passionate about raising the
standards in the Wellness and Beauty Industry in Africa to reach the
Global Standard of Excellence. This focus drove her to lead her team
to successfully launch the first ever Spa and Beauty Expo in West
Africa called IYABA to create a
platform of Training, Education and Networking for Spa and Beauty
businesses which are playing a major but unrecognized role in SME
development in Africa. Dzigbordi has also co created an
authentically African skin and body care aromatherapy and spa line
“KANSHI” which incorporates
ingredients from West Africa such as papaya, mango, coconut and shea
butter with healing and nourishing benefits.
For this work, and many other firsts, Dzigbordi was named the
prestigious “CIMG Marketing Woman of the Year” 2009, She is
currently the ChairLady of the Spa Association of Africa, the First
African to Co-Host the invitation only Global Spa Summit and she has
been featured in Top International and Spa Industry Press such as
Spa Business Magazine, The Spa Hand Book Women’s Wear Daily, Pulse
Magazine from the International Spa Association and Business in
Africa among others.
Dzigbordi’s social responsibility efforts include serving on the
governing Council of United Way Ghana, A trustee of the Children’s
Heart Foundation Ghana, a member of the Zonta Club of Accra II, and
the Complete Renewed Equipped Women (CREW). She has a passion for
young ladies believing that they can fly no matter how
unconventional they are, and is a mentor to many.
In addition to various Spa Management Qualifications, Dzigbordi has
an Economics and Finance Degree from Virginia State University and
Executive Education from Harvard University both in the USA.
Dzigbordi loves the game of tennis, inspirational reading and
worship music. She is married and blessed with a beautiful daughter.
